Look for Less Marie Claire June 2018

My goal — find budget friendly alternatives, to not so budget friendly magazine choices. This is my clever way of building a bridge that connects the fashion world to your closet.

In many cases, I quickly find Look for Less choices and easily link to them. These are the days that my job is a breeze! There are other days, when finding great choices takes much longer. These are the days my job is not so easy breezy.  Then there are those rare days  when it is nearly impossible to find what I am looking for. These are the days I spend pulling my hair out! I have two choices on these days; quit or source my own product.

Such is the case with the Dolce & Gabbana necklace, featured on page 12 in the June 2018 issue of Marie Claire.  I searched for hours to find a budget friendly version of this necklace.  After no luck and a bit less hair, I headed to one of my go to manufacturers.I am pleased with the Look for Less version. It can be found in The Achievable Fashion Look for Less Store.

Dolce & Gabbana look for less necklace

I fell in love with this Dolc & Gabbana beauty at hello! It was the first item I marked in this  issue.(page12) I then proceeded to pull my hair out trying to find a Look for Less version. Sometimes when things are unusually hard to find, I leave them aside. Not this one! I was bound an determined to find something. Is this an exact match, no. Am I going for an exact match – no. I think this has a similar look and feel. And hey, the price makes it doable. I am very proud of this Look for Less!

Versace western belt look for less

Love this Versace belt!(page 49) BUT..1,225.00 ouch! I found this Look for Less at Target! Woot!

Ferragamo bag look for less

Love this Farragamo bag! (page 56) Not sure if $2200.00 is in my budget right now! Love this budget friendly choice. Found at Baginc.

4.

Monolo Blahnik look for less

Who doesn’t love Manolo Blahnik??? Umm my wallet! Found on page 58. Here is a great Look for Less!

5.

Versace Dress Look for Less

This Versace dress is on page 104. Price upon request!!! If you have to ask, you can’t afford it! I found this Look for Less at New York and Company!

Love this Gucci Belt Bag! Not sure the price, but fairly confident it is not in my monthly budget! Found a great Look for Less at Target!

Love this slip dress!!! The look for less Frame Slip dress option is a bit brighter — the price tag is a better fit!!!

Nailed it on this Alberta Ferretti Look for Less!!! Found at Belk!

Pinapple trend Look for Less Pinapple

My 6th and final favorite Look for Less. Obviously this Look for Less is not as closet a match as the others. These adorable pineapple shorts, found at Avon, are a nice way to add a little pineapple to your closet!
