Spring 2019 fashion trends – If you find navigating the fashion world frustrating – you have landed in the right place! I’m a fashion magazine junkie – and still find myself scratching my head trying to interpret the trends! When I say I’m a magazine junkie, I’m not kidding! I love flipping through every magazine I can get my hands on. I scan each one cover to cover, page after beautiful page. Unfortunately, much of what I see only works for those who are young, thin and for those who have unlimited budgets. That is certainly not me!!! The fashion world seems to forget that most do not fall into those categories; a never ending source of contention for me.

The goal of The Achievable Fashion Trend Report is to interpret the trends for those who are not super young, thin and rich. Also, for those of us who aren’t interested in making fashion a full time gig. We study the trends and find inexpensive and easy ways to add them to your closet. Each season we tell the trend story by sharing the following:

This season has lots of fun trends. The following are my 5 favorite fashion trends for spring 2019. They are my favorites for a multitude of reasons. (Mainly because they work for most and are readily available.)

Shorts, Beige and Florals are my absolute favs, so naturally they are the trends used for the spring 2019 wardrobe mix. That doesn’t mean you have to choose these trends. (To see all the 2019 spring fashion reports visit here.) It doesn’t matter what or how many trends you add to your closet. It only matters that you have wardrobe basics to pair your new trends with. Without the right wardrobe essentials, trend items do one thing – add to your pile of nothing to wear.

Short Story

Shorts were on more fashion reports than any other trend. (Out of the reports I view.) So technically shorts are a top spring 2019 fashion trend. Shorts were seen in many styles. The front-runner, biker shorts. I have to admit, not the friendliest trend for everyone. Don’t let that stop you. There are chino options that give the same look without the scare. Spring and summer 2019 fashion trends will have you seeing shorts – biker or other.

50 Shades of Beige

Aka neutrals or earth tones. This is my favorite trend. I love this trend for a couple of reasons. One, I love beige and two, color trends are easy to add to your closet. The choices are virtually limitless. You can do spring / summer 2019 beige in a shoe, bag, scarf or countless other items. Sometimes a trend can boxed you in – not this years beige.

Summer Florals

Flowers are always a welcome sight – especially after a long winter. In the ground, or on our clothing, we love flowers! This spring / summer 2019 fashion trend may not have shown up in every fashion report – but it is showing up in all the stores. Florals are pretty and fun!

Bows

Bows are romantic. From shirts to shoes and bags, bows are everywhere.

Denim Re-Invented

All I can say is, Annie get your denim!!! There are so many ways to wear denim right now! The only rule, HAVE FUN!

Before getting into the spring 2019 fashion trend wardrobe remix and before heading out shopping, there is one important point to mention. Earlier I said it doesn’t matter how many or what trends you add to your closet. Something that does count, when purchasing multiple trends, make sure they work well together. As you will see in our wardrobe mix, when items can be worn together, you get more mileage! Remember, our concept is more with less – way more with way less!!!
