John Hardy Inspired Bracelet – From Magazine to Your Closet
Hopefully by now you know that From Magazine to your closet is affordable alternatives to the current fashion trends in the magazines. The idea for this section of the Achievable Fashion Magazine came from my own frustration with fashion. I loved flipping through the latest fashion magazines; however I was always left disappointed. Although I loved the beautiful things I saw as I flipped through the pages of the magazines, nothing was ever attainable to me.
I will always believe that the fashion world caters to the “ultras “of the world, the ultra – rich, the ultra – thin and the ultra-beautiful. Achievable Fashion caters to everyone else, what I like to call everyday women or the masses.
In an attempt to bring fashion to all I decided to create the From Magazine to Your Closet section of the Achievable Fashion Magazine.
Each Month I flip through the magazines, pull out my favorite things and find everyday versions. This month my favs include these John Hardy bracelets. I love, love, love everything about them. Well almost everything. The price tag I do not love. The price of these bracelets is way out of my league, so I image they do not fit most budgets. After visiting the site I can tell you most bracelets here are well over $1000.00 each.
It is my mission to bring the magazines to your closet so I am quite pleased to highlight the bracelets I found at one of my go to fashion jewelry stores – fantasy jewelry box. I think you may agree that these bracelets are a great alternative to the designer inspiration ones.
I realize they may not be an exact match; I am never attempting to get exact matches, just fabulous alternatives to the unattainable version of current fashion trends.

When fashion giant Dolce & Gabbana decided to get into cosmetics, they looked for the expert advice of makeup pro Pat McGrath. In 2009, the Dolce & Gabbana makeup was introduced to the world with the same luxury Dolce & Gabbana is known for.
With the price tag one might expect from the fashion giants this makeup is not designed for the budget makeup shopper. It is geared for those who believe makeup is an experience. Although high end, Dolce and Gabbana’s makeup line, unlike their clothing line, is reachable. At around 32 for a lipstick and 56 for an eye shadow quad, us everyday ladies can wear Dolce & Gabbana!!!

When I look for friends of Achievable Fashion Beauty Report, I look for a few things. First and foremost I look for people and companies who make women’s beauty journey a bit simpler. I am on a mission to help women achieve beauty – easily and inexpensively. When I say beauty I mean inner beauty, health and nutrition, along with outer beauty. In fact I don’t believe that outer beauty can be achieved unless inner beauty is achieved first. Really, all the makeup in the world can’t make an unhealthy person glow.
So with that I would like to welcome the first Friend of Achievable Fashion’s Beauty Report – Kathy Rutherford Arbonne Representative. Arbonne SeaSource Detox Wrap!
I love these detoxifying spa products from Arbonne! When I met Kathy, Arbonne rep, she introduced me to the detoxifying spa line. Because I am all about detoxifying I was immediately interested in trying the line. I am convinced that the reason many of hold on to extra weight is that we are filled with toxins. The more I read and study about the negative effects of toxins the more I am convinced of this. I am also convinced that toxins speed up the aging process, yikes!
Needless to say when Kathy offered to let me try the detox wrap, I jumped at the chance. First I have to tell you, you know the products are working when they are on. Once I had the wrap on it tingled which let me know it was working. The wrap was simple to do and surprisingly, not that messy. You know that some wraps and spa products can be a bear and a mess.
Immediately after I took the wrap off, I had lost 3/4 of an inch. The next day I lost an additional 1/2 inch. So with my first wrap I lost a total of 1 ¼ inches.
I was thrilled! There is nothing that will jump start weight loss like a little detoxifying. I was excited and motivated with my inch and a quarter loss!

I love this top. Mixing prints is so hot right now, yet most of us are scared to death mix prints together. While perusing the JCP website for budget friendly spring 2013 trends I came across this beauty.
This top does the print mixing for us! With this top we are print mixing – one of this season’s hottest trends, but we don’t have to worry about seeing our photo in the how not to mix prints / when prints go wrong section!
The Look for Less : Angelina Jolie at the 81st Academy Awards
Who could forget Angelina Jolie at the 81st Academy Awards? She was stunning – as if we would find her anything other way.
If you look at her total look you will notice that her jewelry is what made this a red carpet classic we won’t ever forget.
I believe the emerald earrings Angelina wore are valued over 2 million dollars! Who, but a movie star or a princess would have the honor of wearing such jewels. I do not have a clue the value of the ring she wore, but I am sure it is out of reach for most.
I don’t know about you, but I could care less about wearing 2 million dollar earrings or a ring that probably cost more that 10 of my houses. I just care about getting the same look. Let’s be honest , if the earrings were not worth 2 million and the ring was not real, Angelina would have looked equally stunning on the red carpet. ( Sorry Jeweler.)
My job at Achievable Fashion is to bring the runways, magazines and red carpet looks into the closets of real women. When I say real women I mean the majority of us do not have unlimited budgets and wear size 0. You know the non – movie stars and the non – princesses! I like to affectionately refer to the majority as the masses.

Check out this Bisou Bisou top I found at JC Penny! I love this! I don’t think there is anything sharper than black and white. It is fresh and crisp! And although we now see stripes all year, they are usually an indication that spring has sprung.
